Overview

Vermont Baskets provides delivery within Vermont for gift baskets and related add-ons ordered through BasketsVermont.com. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout based on the recipient’s Vermont address.

We prepare and coordinate orders based on the recipient address, product eligibility, delivery requirements, item availability, and routing. Available delivery information and estimated delivery dates are shown during checkout.

Customers may place orders from outside Vermont, but the recipient delivery address must be located within Vermont.

Order Processing

Orders begin processing shortly after payment is confirmed. Customers requesting an address correction, recipient update, order change, cancellation, or delivery-related adjustment should contact Vermont Baskets as early as possible.

Once preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination has begun, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

During holidays, peak periods, or high-volume delivery dates, orders may require additional preparation and coordination time. Requested changes may be limited once an order is in progress.

Delivery Timing

Next-day delivery is the standard delivery model for Vermont Baskets. Available delivery dates and delivery information are shown during checkout based on the recipient’s Vermont address.

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery times unless expressly confirmed otherwise in writing by Vermont Baskets. Exact delivery timing may vary due to routing, weather, traffic, recipient availability, building access, security procedures, courier performance, delivery partner capacity, product availability, and operational requirements.

Residential deliveries are generally coordinated for completion by the end of the applicable delivery day. Business, office, institutional, and managed-property deliveries are generally coordinated during standard business hours where possible.

Delivery Completion

Deliveries do not require a signature unless otherwise stated or required because of product type, delivery location, alcohol content, age verification, building procedures, courier requirements, or applicable delivery rules.

Orders may be delivered directly to the recipient or accepted by a building representative, concierge, reception desk, security desk, front desk, mailroom, loading area, delivery room, or another building-approved receiving point where appropriate.

Once delivery confirmation has been obtained, or the order has been accepted by the recipient, building representative, reception desk, mailroom, concierge, security desk, front desk, or other authorized receiving location, the order may be considered delivered.

Office, Building, and Managed Property Deliveries

Deliveries to offices, institutions, apartments, condominiums, hotels, hospitals, care facilities, schools, gated communities, managed properties, and similar locations may be completed through reception, mailroom, concierge, security, front desk, loading area, delivery room, or another building-approved receiving point.

Customers are responsible for providing complete delivery details, including company name, department, suite or unit number, recipient phone number, building instructions, access codes where appropriate, and any other information needed for delivery.

Vermont Baskets is not responsible for delays, misplaced items, restricted access, or internal handling issues after an order has been accepted by a building, property, desk, representative, or authorized receiving location.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate Vermont delivery address at the time an order is placed.

  • Address changes must be requested promptly after ordering and before preparation, fulfillment, or delivery coordination begins.
  • Orders with incorrect or incomplete address information may be delayed, misdelivered, or undeliverable.
  • Missing suite numbers, apartment numbers, business names, department details, recipient phone numbers, or access instructions may prevent successful delivery.
  • Refunds, replacements, credits, or re-delivery may not be available for orders affected by address errors, missing information, incorrect recipient details, or incomplete delivery instructions.

Service Area Review

Some Vermont addresses may require additional delivery review before fulfillment proceeds. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout, but Vermont Baskets may still review certain orders for delivery feasibility, product eligibility, routing, or delivery partner requirements.

If an address requires additional delivery coordination, customer service may contact the purchaser before fulfillment continues. If delivery cannot be completed to the address provided, the order may be modified, delayed, cancelled, refunded, or treated as undeliverable depending on the circumstances.

Undeliverable Orders

Orders may be considered undeliverable when delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete address information, recipient unavailability, refused delivery, restricted access, unsafe delivery conditions, failed age verification where applicable, building limitations, courier restrictions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

  • Refunds may not be issued for undeliverable orders caused by customer or recipient circumstances.
  • Re-delivery may incur additional fees.
  • Re-delivery is not guaranteed and depends on product condition, delivery availability, timing, recipient location, and applicable delivery requirements.
  • Perishable or temperature-sensitive items may need to be remade or replaced and cannot always be recovered, reused, or resold.
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information remains the customer’s responsibility.

Perishable and Temperature-Sensitive Products

Some gift baskets may include food, beverages, chocolate, fruit, cheese, baked goods, or other perishable, seasonal, temperature-sensitive, or time-sensitive components. These items are selected and prepared with delivery timing and product condition in mind.

If a perishable or temperature-sensitive component is unavailable or not suitable for delivery conditions, Vermont Baskets may replace it with an appropriate alternative at its discretion to help protect quality, presentation, and successful delivery.

Once delivery has been completed, Vermont Baskets is not responsible for spoilage, melting, deterioration, theft, loss, or damage caused by delayed recipient pickup, unattended packages, weather exposure, incorrect delivery instructions, recipient unavailability, or circumstances outside our control.

Substitutions

Because some items are seasonal, perishable, supplier-dependent, discontinued, or subject to availability, substitutions may occasionally be necessary.

When substitutions are made, Vermont Baskets aims to maintain the overall intent, value, and presentation of the selected gift basket. A substituted item, brand, package, container, decoration, or presentation detail does not automatically qualify an order for a refund, replacement, or credit.

Due to product availability, delivery timing, and order volume, customers may not always be contacted in advance regarding substitutions.

Alcohol and Regulated Products

Some products or add-ons may include alcohol or other regulated products where permitted by applicable law and available for the recipient’s Vermont delivery location.

Delivery of alcohol or regulated products may be subject to age verification, adult signature, valid government-issued identification, recipient availability, delivery partner requirements, and other applicable delivery rules.

If an order containing alcohol or regulated products cannot be completed because age verification, adult signature, identification, recipient availability, restricted access, or other requirements are not satisfied, the order may be delayed, modified, cancelled, returned, or treated as undeliverable. Refunds, replacements, credits, or re-delivery may not be available in these circumstances.

Recipient Availability

Customers are responsible for providing delivery information that allows the order to be completed successfully. This may include recipient phone number, building access information, company name, department, suite or unit number, and any relevant delivery instructions.

If the recipient is unavailable, the delivery location is inaccessible, or the delivery cannot be completed because of customer or recipient circumstances, Vermont Baskets may treat the order as undeliverable or may offer re-delivery where available and practical.

Customers may use the order tracking widget on this website to review available order and delivery status information after an order has been placed.

Tracking information may be provided or updated by Vermont Baskets, fulfillment providers, couriers, delivery partners, or related service providers. Tracking information is provided for visibility and may not reflect every step of preparation, routing, fulfillment, or delivery coordination.

External Factors

Delivery schedules may be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, storms, road closures, traffic, carrier disruptions, courier disruptions, labor disruptions, holidays, public emergencies, building access restrictions, security procedures, supplier issues, technology outages, power outages, or transportation network issues.

Vermont Baskets is not responsible for refunds, replacements, credits, delays, failed delivery attempts, or non-delivery caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
